Pylon is built around business customers and the accounts behind them. If you support companies in Slack and Teams and care most about account context, it is a strong pick.
Purpose-built for B2B support, with account intelligence: every conversation feeds the account context.
Slack, Microsoft Teams, email, WhatsApp, phone and SMS, Telegram, Discord and a chat widget.
A Support Agent for customers, an Assist Agent that investigates and acts, a Slack Agent, plus skills and automations.
Create Linear or Jira issues from a ticket, with comments synced and customer context on each issue.
Pick Pylon when
Both answer customers with AI and bring in people when needed. The difference starts when the question turns out to be a bug.
| Step | Pylon | Tore |
|---|---|---|
| Answers customers | Support Agent resolves questions across Slack, Teams, email, chat and more. | Answers from your help center with the article cited, across email, chat widget and Slack. |
| Hands over to a person | Brings in humans when judgment is needed. | Hands over with the full conversation when it is not confident. Anyone can take over at any moment. |
| Bug capturereplay, console, network | Not part of it | Reports from the chat widget arrive with replay, console and network attached. Bug capture |
| Investigation in your code | Assist Agent can investigate with code context, or delegate to outside agents. | Reads the repository you connect and finds the root cause, down to the file and line. |
| Fix and tests | Can delegate to an outside coding agent. | Writes the fix and runs your tests. Your engineer can request changes in plain words. |
| Pull request for approval | Not part of it | Preps the pull request. By default it waits for your engineer's approval. |
| Customers told it is fixed | When a linked Linear issue closes, the ticket returns to your team to follow up. | Everyone who reported it is told automatically when the fix is live. |
| Model choice | Names Claude and ChatGPT models. | The right model for each job, from Claude, Codex, Gemini, Grok and more. You can set it per task. |
| Proactive errors | Not part of it | Errors from your error tracker are grouped by fingerprint and can open an investigation before anyone writes in. |

Most teams keep support conversations in one tool and the code in another, joined by a person copying between them. The ticket says the import broke; the code knows exactly which line did it.
Support desk
Pylon, and support platforms like it. Great with accounts and conversations, then the bug moves to the tracker.
Tore
The conversation, the investigation and the reply live together, so nothing is retyped.
Coding agent
AI engineers that start from an issue. Strong at the fix, but the customer never hears from them.
The evidence comes with it
When a customer reports a bug from the chat widget, Tore attaches what your engineer needs: the replay, the console and the network calls, with secrets stripped before upload.
For teams whose customers are companies that reach them in Slack or Teams, Pylon is built for exactly that, with account context at the centre. Tore handles the queue and AI answers too. Where it differs is what happens when the question turns out to be a bug.
It keeps support and engineering in sync, which helps. An engineer still has to reproduce the bug, find the cause and write the fix, and someone has to tell the customer. Tore does those steps, and by default waits for your engineer to approve the change.
By default it waits for your engineer's approval. Your engineer can request changes in plain words, and Tore revises the fix and re-runs the tests. You set how much it does on its own, per repository, in AI controls.
The right model for each job: a fast model for quick answers, deep reasoning for root causes, a coding model for fixes. You can let Tore choose or set it per task. During early access, you can also bring your own AI keys.
Plans, what is included and how the AI is billed are on the pricing page.
Tore answers your business customers and takes the bugs behind their tickets all the way to a fix for your engineer to approve.
